Char Mooloolaba offers a contemporary dining experience on the Sunshine Coast, just moments away from the blue waters of Mooloolaba Beach. Crisp white tablecloths and softly lit candles combined with a breezy laidback coastal vibe set the scene for any occasion, whether it be an intimate dinner or group celebration.
Char’s wine list has been developed with two very important factors in mind; firstly to guarantee the best provenance for our wines, from grower, to cellar, to customer; and secondly, to provide an extensive choice of matched wines for our customers. In addition to an ever-increasing wine list, Char Mooloolaba also offers a fantastic selection of Whiskies from the Scottish Highlands through to Southern Tasmania.
Char Mooloolaba’s modern menu highlights fresh Australian produce in starters such as our range of Coffin Bay oysters, antipasto or seared scallops with cauliflower puree and pico de gallo. For mains, it’s hard to go past chargrilled sweet caramelised pork cutlets with apple puree, asparagus and sweet potato chips, Crispy skinned whole Daintree Salt Water Barramundi or 360-day aged Wagyu Ribeye accompanied by house-made coleslaw, trio of mustard’s and choice of sauce for enthusiastic eaters.
